HOW TO REACHTHE GUEST HOUSE
By trainFrom Santa Maria Novella train station you can reach Locanda dei Guelfi by taxi or on foot. Leave the station from the side where platform 16 is located and turn right on the sidewalk and then left on Via Nazionale, after 200m approximately, turn right Via Guelfa, the right at number 45. It is about a 10 minute walk from the station.
By car
From the Firenze Nord exit follow the signs for the city center (centro). When you get to Fortezza da Basso, take Viale Spartaco Lavagnini and turn right at the first traffic light on Via Santa Caterina d'Alessandria. After the square with trees (Piazza Indipendenza), Via Nazionale starts, after 100m approximately, turn left Via Guelfa, the right at number 45.
From the Firenze Sud exit follow the signs for the center. Once you get to Piazza della Libertą take Via Lorenzo Il Magnifico: at the first traffic light turn left on Via Poliziano and continue until you get to Via Santa Caterina d'Alessandria. After the square with trees (Piazza Indipendenza), Via Nazionale starts, after 100m approximately, turn left Via Guelfa, the right at number 45.
